This unique design was created as a tribute to a large Tamarack tree  felled during the construction of this beautiful mountain retreat near McCall, Idaho.  The owners wanted to  blur the line between the natural beauty that surrounds the home and its walls – to invite the outdoors in.  The foliage was cut from old weathered sheets of steel found  behind a shed on a nearby farm.  This seven month project was fabricated in 18 modular sections and welded together on site.
