BAG LADY I
Bronze 8"x 8"x 5"
Haunted by her pursuit of things "Bag Lady" communicates silently the enless void created by this lonely track. Weathereed bits of pottery salvaged from and Italian beach and a "Potters's Tip" in a small village of Southwest England encrust her torso - broken useless survivors of once highly prized things that no longer delight. Her cumbersome hands drag invisible shopping bags heavy with the vain stuff of material dreams She remains unfulfilled but always looking for the one thing that might end her search.
