The references in this design are influenced by the basalt cliffs along the Boise River Basin and tenacious towering Pines of the mountain regions directly to the north. How a tree can sink its roots into impenetrable stone and then find a way to thrive where it was planted has always amazed and inspired. Its source of life lies deep below the surface a profound message to all who stop long enough to listen and question.
